WHAT IS THE TYPICAL PROCESS FOR STARTING THERAPY?
Communication will start over the phone with a brief discussion about the presenting concerns. At that time, you'll be scheduled for an intake. An intake will help your therapist get to know you, your child, or your family and what you're looking for out of therapy. Following the intake, you'll be scheduled for weekly or bi-weekly sessions which are typically 45 minutes each.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
Pursuit of Wellness is considered an out-of-network provider. Cash, check, and credit are all accepted. However, a superbill can be issued and submitted by the patient to their insurance. A superbill is an itemized form used by healthcare providers for reflecting rendered services.
No Surprises Act/Good Faith Estimates:
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

WHAT IS YOUR RATE?
Rates at Pursuit of Wellness are based on the service provided. An individual session is $160 for 45 minutes while the rates for extended sessions, family sessions, or testing vary. Please contact me directly to discuss your needs.
